Our in-house Move Management team is responsible for all communication with the transferee, as well as identifying the strategic partner agent that best meets the needs of the employee’s timetable for the move. The process starts with an introduction needs assessment to gather pertinent information that is critical to the move and partner selection. As a national account and large volume client, we have access to top rated drivers that only self-haul for their respective agents, meaning these drivers typically will not haul van line shipments not associated with the agent itself.
Carrier selection criteria includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Self-Hauling Ability: All Relo requires that each carrier self-hauls a minimum of 90% of the shipments we place with that carrier.
- Service areas and hauling strength
- Ability to meet special requirements and dates
- Internal quality processes and training
- On-going carrier performance evaluation
- All Relo clearly communicates its standards of performance in writing via our stringent business rules and evaluates a carrier’s ability to achieve these standards consistently.
Our evaluation process includes:
Every carrier undergoes a customer satisfaction evaluation process after each move, assuring consistent quality service (on site spot visits at packing and/or delivery).
- Measure performance against our stated standards, using feedback from the transferees and other measurement tools.
- Track, analyze, and rate performance over time by combining measurements of specific performance areas into a single rating (on-time delivery and claim prevention).
- Maintain a continuous cycle of quality improvement through communication and feedback with our carrier partners.
